The SpoolManager app lets you manage 3D printer filament spools using NFC tags. This privacy policy explains how data is processed.
No personal data is collected, transmitted, or shared with third parties. The app only processes non-personal technical data about 3D printer filament spools (manufacturer, color, material, spool weight).
Scope: This policy applies to all users of the app from 18 April 2026.
The app processes only non-personal data about filament spools:

NFC data: The app reads and writes this data locally to compatible NFC tags using the iOS Core NFC API. This data is not transmitted to servers or third parties.
The app offers optional iCloud sync to sync between devices (off by default):
Note: iCloud sync is for switching devices and only processes non-personal filament spool data.
No data is sent to third parties (servers, analytics, advertising):
NFC: Works fully offline via iOS Core NFC.
For app distribution, standard Apple metadata is processed:
